During your stay in Perledo we ask you to cooperate with the waste management.
The awareness campaign of the Municipality of Perledo on differentiation, to discourage the abandonment of waste in the area and help the citizen to carry out a correct conferment.
!!! ATTENTION FROM 2022 NOVEMBER 7TH THE RULES OF DIFFERENTIATION HAVE CHANGED WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF THE RED BAG !!!
THE ECOLOGICAL AREA , the ECOLOGICAL HOUSES and the GLASS BELLS are VIDEO SUPERVISED areas. Any abandonment of waste outside them will be sanctioned by law.
Types of waste and methods of conferment
LIGHTWEIGHT MULTIMATERIAL – PURPLE BAG
WHAT TO PUT
Plastic: bottles, jars and trays, blisters and shaped wrappers, envelopes and bags, egg trays, nets for fruit and vegetables, bottles for detergents, cosmetics and liquid soap, containers of distilled water, polystyrene packaging, disposable plates and glasses, boxes (e.g. fruit), cellophane and films, pots for transporting plants, coat hangers. Aluminum and other metals: beverage cans, food trays and tins (tuna, tomato…), aluminum coffee capsules, crown caps, jar lids, coat hangers, canning tubes, cosmetics (e.g. toothpaste) , sheets of aluminum foil, cans of shaving foam and cream. Tetrapak: containers for drinks (milk, wine, fruit juices, etc…)
ATTENTION!
Biodegradable and compostable products (e.g. bags, plates, etc.) must NOT be placed in the lightweight multi-material (purple bag). Toys and other plastic or rubber objects must be placed in the rubbish bag or taken to the recycling center (municipal collection centre). CLEAN NOT SHINE. The containers must be empty and without residues for a better quality of recycling. LET’S USE COMMON SENSE, water is a precious commodity. CRUSH THEM TO REDUCE THE VOLUME Do not use smaller bags to place waste inside the lightweight multi-material (purple bag).
PAPER AND CARDBOARD – YELLOW CONTAINER
WHAT TO PUT
Paper, cardboard and cardboard, newspapers, magazines, books, notebooks, sheets, envelopes and paper bags, cardboard boxes (detergents, shoes…), pastry trays, cardboard packages (pasta, rice, cereals, eggs, etc…), pizza box (without pizza!), etc…
ATTENTION!
Greaseproof or laminated paper and baking paper should be placed in the undifferentiated waste bag. The tetrapak in the purple sack!
CLEAN NOT SHINE.
Bags and boxes must be empty and without residues for better recycling quality. LET’S USE COMMON SENSE, water is a precious commodity. USE THE SPECIAL RIGID YELLOW CONTAINERS Do not put paper and cardboard in plastic bags. You can also store folded cartons separately and newspapers tied in bundles or use a cardboard box
WET – BIODEGRADABLE BAG
WHAT TO PUT
Raw and cooked kitchen food scraps, fruit and vegetable scraps, fish bones and bones, tea and chamomile tea bags, coffee grounds, pasta, bread, egg shells, cut flowers, wooden toothpicks, biodegradable and compostable crockery (certified according to the unified standard UNI EN 13432).
ATTENTION!
Litter (also compostable) and animal excrement, cork stoppers, paper handkerchiefs, mussel and clam shells, cigarette butts must be placed in the red rubbish bag.
USE BIODEGRADABLE AND COMPOSTABLE BAGS DO NOT USE PLASTIC BAGS!!
BIODEGRADABLE AND COMPOSTABLE DISHES: Look on the packaging for the marks that certify the certification of biodegradability and compostability.
RED BAG WITH ID
All the undifferentiated waste that was previously placed in the transparent bag must be placed in the red bag, with the only exception of diapers and absorbent sanitary aids. For the latter two types of waste, anyone who needs them can request the appropriate blue bags directly from the Municipality.
BLUE SACK
Anyone who needs to provide diapers and absorbent sanitary aids can request the special blue bag directly from the Municipality. This bag must be used ONLY for the transfer of this type of waste.

HOURS:
Tuesday from 14.00 to 16.00
Thursday from 14.00 to 16.00
Saturday from 9.00 to 12.00
PLEASE NOTE THAT ACCESS TO THE RECYCLING AREA CAN ONLY BE DONE WITH THE REGIONAL SERVICES CARD.
Commercial, artisanal and industrial users will have the obligation to present the completed waste identification form to the Service operators, as required by Legislative Decree 152/2006 and subsequent amendments
WHAT TO BRING
- Bulky waste (broken furniture, mattresses, toys, broken shoes, objects, mirrors, etc.)
- Grass clippings and branches
- Wood (crates, pallets, etc…)
- Iron and other metals
- Plastic packaging (cassettes, large films, large styrofoam)
- Glass
- Paper and cardboard packaging (which due to size cannot be delivered through the door-to-door service)
- Hazardous waste (toners, paints, sprays, neon, cells and batteries)
- Small appliances (small WEEE e.g. toaster, mobile phone, hair dryer, etc.)
- Cooking and frying oils
- Aggregates (ceramics and scraps from small demolitions, in moderate quantities) where the service is present (NO eternit and rock wool)
